Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Term Time Only Plus 3 weeks (42 weeks per year worked)
Salary: £14.43 to £16.11 p/hr / Actual annual salary £27,769 to £31,002 depending on skills and experience
Teaching Personnel have a fantastic opportunity to work with a SEN school based in Darwen. The school is looking for an experienced school administrator to join their dedicated team.
The main purpose of the role:
To provide administration support to all areas of the school. Working collaboratively and professionally, this role is busy and varied.
Key duties:
* Provide an efficient and effective administrative service to the school team.
* Provide assistance to the School Business Manager and Central HR teams with recruitment, probationary reviews, performance reviews, appraisals.
* Support School Business Manager with processing invoices, goods receipting, new supplier onboarding, and petty cash.
* Manage the school's business administration function and deliver timely reports while meeting compliance deadlines.
* Assist and support the School Business Manager in managing and responding to issues relating to the support functions within the school, such as First Aid, off-site activities, and catering.
Qualifications:
* Good level of literacy and numeracy.
* Demonstrable experience of working in an administrative role, ideally including Finance, HR, and pupil administration and/or within an educational or care environment.
* Computer literacy essential, particularly in Microsoft Office.
* Accurate typing and minute taking.
* Organised with good time management skills.
* Ability to manage workload effectively and multi-task.
* High level of interpersonal ability with excellent written and verbal communication.
