RSK Group is one of the UK’s largest environmental geotechnical and contaminated land consultancies. Due to continued growth in the topographical survey department, we now have an exciting opportunity for a CAD Technician to join the team in Helsby, Cheshire currently providing surveying services to support our clients in the property, civil engineering, oil and gas, nuclear, renewable energy, water and transport sectors in the UK and overseas.

Responsibilities will Include:
* Assisting our Land Surveyors in drafting data.
* Drafting 3D scan data (pointcloud) in CAD.
* Drafting Stat plans from service records.
* Production of survey drawings.
* Giving feedback and technical advice to senior management and clients.
* Report writing.
* Finalising drawings in AutoCAD.
* Undertaking any other activities required to help our land surveyors complete their works.
* Completing site documentation for site work crews.
* Use of survey software – (Training can be given)
As a candidate you should have the following:
* 2 years+ experience in production of a variety of survey deliverables.
* Experience in using Autodesk AutoCAD.
* Knowledge of the survey industry, including land & measured building surveying processes.
* A committed attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced industry.
* Have pride and passion for high quality survey work
* Effective communication skills.
The following skills would be an advantage but are not essential:
* Experienced in using N4ce or similar surveying software’s
* Experience using cloud Worx or similar software
* Experience of using point cloud registration software.
* Experience of undertaking topographic, utility & measured building surveys.
* Experience of drafting in Revit
* Degree/HND/Diploma etc in a survey related subject.
