Ashton Recruitment require a Holiday Lets Accommodation Manager for our client based in Antrim.
Position: Holiday Lets Accommodation Manager
Location: Antrim with travel required across all holiday park locations - a company vehicle will be provided
Duration: Permanent
Rate of Pay: £30,000 - £38,000 + company vehicle
Duties include (but are not limited to):
1. Responsible for the daily operations of self-catering guest accommodation units and associated facilities, including hot tubs, across all 4 Holiday Park sites in Portrush Antrim.
2. Drive results within the department, focusing on goals set by senior management, with an emphasis on guest satisfaction measures, team engagement, and department costs and profitability.
3. Responsible for delivering a high level of cleanliness & hygiene in all guest accommodation units and associated facilities, ensuring readiness for arrivals to exceed guests' expectations.
4. Work with the wider Holiday Lets team to achieve overall seasonal targets for volume of bookings and occupancy levels across all Blair's Holiday Parks.
5. Plan and coordinate rota and shift patterns to ensure sufficient staffing levels to meet demand for holiday lets, sales/handover caravans, and facilities at all holiday parks.
6. Recruit, manage, and appraise the full-time, part-time, and seasonal team required to deliver on holiday lets activity.
7. Deliver an annual and periodic recruitment plan to ensure the correct number of team members and contracts are in place to meet seasonal business demand.
8. Participate in the selection and appointment of staff when required in accordance with relevant employment law procedures.
9. Review the performance of subordinate staff at least annually, providing guidance on personal development requirements and initiating further training where appropriate.
10. Ensure efficient and effective use of resources within the agreed budget with the Head of Holiday Lets & Marketing.
11. Conduct regular inventory audits of supplies and operational equipment as per Finance Department requirements, maintaining accurate records of stock levels and usage.
12. Source, procure, manage, and maintain all cleaning equipment & consumables across all 4 holiday parks.
13. Handle complaints and special requests to achieve complete guest satisfaction.
14. Comply with special needs and requests of guests, VIPs, and repeat visitors.
15. Ensure that the holiday lets cleaning team delivers a highly professional cleaning programme that exceeds customer expectations.
16. Ensure that your team complies with all health and safety procedures and safe systems of work.
17. Be responsible for health and safety of all aspects of holiday lets & public facilities across all Holiday Parks.
18. Maintain staff relationships and morale among all company staff.
19. Promote and support the vision and direction of the Board of Directors at all times.
20. Provide a customer-focused service and treat those with whom they come into contact in a courteous and respectful manner.
Essential Criteria:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in housekeeping and/or cleaning management role within the hospitality & leisure sector or similar customer-focused service role.
* Experience of managing external supply chains.
* In possession of a full driving licence.
* Computer literate with proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
* Methodical and organised approach.
* Ability to translate accommodation arrivals/departures into efficient cleaning programmes & work schedules.
* Flexible, adaptable, and motivational.
* Working understanding of cleaning health and safety policies and experience of delivering work-related risk assessments and safe systems of work.
* Experience in delivering excellent customer service.
Desirable:
* Experience in database and booking systems.
* Experience of developing improvement and quality control plans and procedures.
* Knowledge of industry hygiene health and safety regulations.
* IOSH & COSHH Accreditation.
* Experience of recruitment and selection of staff as well as monitoring staff performance.
