The Role
This role has a range of functions which include identifying suppliers, raising and issuing purchase orders, maintaining purchasing records, and handling RFQs while negotiating prices.
You will also liaise with suppliers to track deliveries, resolve delays, and ensure orders meet specifications.
You’ll support the Goods Inwards and Purchase Ledger teams in resolving queries and contribute to ad-hoc projects whilst also running and analysing MRP purchasing reports.
Ideally, you’ll have experience in a purchasing environment, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and knowledge of Syspro and Sage is advantageous.
