This is a HR Generalist role - you would spend around 50% of your time supporting payroll, with the rest split across L&D administration and building reports to track HR KPIs across the firm.\n\nIt's ideal for someone who is comfortable in Excel, enjoys data entry, thrives on accuracy, and has a keen eye for reporting and systems.\n\nClient Details\n\nAre you an HR professional with a love for data, systems and organisation? We're supporting a well-established, forward-thinking business in Leeds City Centre to find a HR & Payroll Administrator to join their collaborative team.\n\nDescription\n\nHR and Payroll Administrator - What you'll be doing:\n\nSupporting the monthly payroll process - liaising with the payroll provider, inputting data, ensuring accuracy, and resolving queries\n\nManaging HR data entry and system updates (starters, leavers, changes)\n\nMonitoring and reporting on HR metrics such as absence, turnover, and training completion\n\nSupporting the Learning & Development team with course bookings, tracking, and post-session reporting\n\nAssisting with the onboarding and offboarding process\n\nProviding generalist HR administrative support where needed\n\nProfile\n\nHR and Payroll Administrator - What we're looking for:\n\nPrevious experience in an HR administrative role, ideally with some exposure to payroll or interest in developing this skill\n\nStrong attention to detail and ability to work with data and spreadsheets\n\nComfortable using HRIS systems (experience with Excel is essential)\n\nA naturally curious mindset - someone who enjoys solving problems and spotting trends\n\nExcellent communication skills and ability to work with confidential information\n\nJob Offer\n\nHR and Payroll Administrator - What's on offer:\n\nSalary up to £30,000, depending on experience\n\nHybrid working - typically 3 days in the office, 2 from home \n\nBeautiful Leeds City Centre offices with great public transport links\n\nSupportive and friendly HR team\n\nReal opportunity to grow within HR and develop your reporting/analytics skills
