The role:
Working as a critical member of the Production team on site, you will be involved in the duties listed below and reporting to the Shift Manager.
Hours of work totalling 39 hours per week on rotating shift patterns, which are Monday to Friday 6:00-14:30 (early finish on Friday) and Monday to Thursday 14:30 - 00:15
Approximate salary is in the range of £35,000 to £40,000 per year, with competitive hourly rates that include enhanced rates for overtime.
To support business requirements overtime working is a contractual obligation. Candidates should expect and anticipate that overtime will be required and should plan accordingly.
This role will start as a temporary contract but could lead to a permanent Antolin contract for excellent performers.
This appointment requires a candidate with the ability to work under pressure, ability to use own initiative, good interpersonal skills, good computer skills and ability to work as part of a flexible team.
Responsibilities:
Support and develop members to ensure the production cell follows process and the company rules,
Identify, register and follow up any safety concerns raised within the cell,
Train members to follow JES and understand audit process,
Understand and follow the company rules and processes, including internal escalation processes,
Support with documentation on the cell at the predetermined frequency. This should include scrap, PAB board, quality performance etc in line with GA SP requirements,
Responsible for ensuring first off's are carried out at the start of the shift and that Quality is monitored closely by all members throughout the team with a 'don’t pass forward' approach,
Following all escalation processes including, Stop, Call, Wait,
Daily machine checks and basic process management (e.g. glue mixing, clean downs, booth clean, robot reset, tool change etc),
Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S protocol and defined State of references,
Standard work audits and training fully compliant,
Continuous Improvement, encourage a solution based approach which identifies any problems as opportunities to improve,
Role model the company values by leading by example, treating all members fairly and with respect.
For our Leading Hand, we are looking for candidates, who are:
Qualified to level 3 NVQ Level,
Previous experience of working in a busy production environment, and carrying out general production duties,
Line leader experience of manufacturing environment, preferably automotive,
Must have a good level of competence with Microsoft Office,
SAP Software experience, Experience with similar software would be considered,
Must have good interpersonal skills, be able to work under pressure, pay attention to detail, and be reliable.
