Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) and (RPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and pediatric environments. The RN will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and medical history.
* Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
* Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
* Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
* Perform laboratory tests and phlebotomy as required.
* Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as Cerner.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
* Ensure compliance with medical terminology standards and best practices in patient care.
Minimum Requirements
* A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
* Previous experience in a hospital, senior care, pediatrics, or assisted living environment is preferred.
* Familiarity with medical terminology and laboratory procedures is advantageous.
* Experience with electronic health record systems, particularly Cerner, is a plus.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals are essential.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
Schedule:
* Monday to Friday
* Weekends as needed
