Audit Senior

In this position, you will oversee an audit team on-site, mentor junior team members, and handle a varied client portfolio. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing statutory audits for corporate clients, both in the office and at their locations.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, carry out, and finalise audit assignments while supporting the audit manager.
* Prepare statutory accounts, corporation tax calculations, and returns for limited companies and groups.
* Identify opportunities for cross-selling services.
* Assist with other compliance tasks, including preparing VAT returns.
* Prepare accounts for partnerships and sole traders, including drafting income tax calculations.
* Communicate workload progress to management and plan for efficient task completion.
* Establish and nurture strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
* Train and oversee junior staff members.
* Prepare management accounts.
Requirements:
* Competent in audit, accounting and tax software.
* ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent.
* Full clean drivers licence.
* Able to work effectively under pressure.
* Strong communication skills.
* Familiar with accounting software e. Sage and Xero
* Previous use of CCH and Caseware would be an advantage
* Excel skills - including vlookup, sumif and Pivot Tables
