This role offers a great opportunity to join a growing engineering business that invests in the development of their staff and continuous improvement of their facility. The purpose of this role is to perform quality inspection for all components manufactured within the company's machine shop. This will involve creating CMM programs, inspecting components with handheld equipment, maintaining calibration equipment and resolving any quality issues. The Inspector will ensure that all components/products meet the required quality specifications. Their will also be development and progression opportunities as the business grows.
Quality Inspector/ CMM ProgrammerResponsibilities
Performing first off inspections of machined components
Complete First Article, PPAPs and inspections reports (ISIR).
Ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
Conduct reject analysis for internal and external rejects.
Carry out root cause analysis and complete RCCA / NCR reports.
Approve and confirm specifications of incoming materials
Identify problems and troubleshoot them accordingly
Creating CMM programs
Resolving quality issues
Document and report non-conformance and ensure continuous quality improvement
Work to ISO9001 regulations / standards
Quality Inspector/ CMM ProgrammerExperience Required
Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standard
Analytical, numerically astute with strong proven problem-solving abilities.
Results orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines.
Ability to interpret and understand technical blueprints.
Good technical skills
Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
