The Role: HR Business Partner
In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with senior stakeholders and the HR team to deliver both operational and strategic HR solutions. You’ll be a key driver in enhancing the employee experience, ensuring the organization is prepared to meet future challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
* Employee Relations:
* Lead and manage complex HR issues, ensuring employees and managers are supported during performance management and other HR processes.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to promote positive employee relations.
* Strategic HR Initiatives:
* Analyse and interpret HR data to identify trends and drive impactful initiatives.
* Evaluate and report on HR metrics to ensure alignment with organizational goals and value for investment.
* Talent Management and Succession Planning:
* Collaborate with Learning & Development (L&D) teams to identify and align training programs with business objectives.
* Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure the workforce is prepared for future needs in terms of size, structure, and agility.
* Take the lead in succession planning, ensuring robust talent pipelines for long-term success.
* Policy and Compliance:
* Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
* Maintain data integrity and provide regular updates to stakeholders based on HR analytics.
* Engagement and Culture:
* Champion a culture of recognition, consultation, and employee engagement.
* Support the adoption of technology, self-service tools, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Best Practice and Innovation:
* Stay ahead of industry trends and strategic HR practices to bring innovative solutions to the organization.
Requirements:
Essential:
* Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, delivering strategic and operational HR solutions.
* Strong generalist HR knowledge, including employee relations, talent management, and performance management.
* Experience handling complex employee relations cases and providing risk-assessed recommendations.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
* Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and influence at all levels.
* Proven experience coaching and supporting senior leaders on HR matters.
* A commercial, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on innovation and delivering value.
* Familiarity with HR technology and its application to improve processes and engagement.
Desirable:
* Level 7 CIPD qualification.
