You will introduce and manage proactive development with your own portfolio of customers both new and existing, you will be responsible for increasing quotation enquiries and gains leading to shipment number increase across the UK, improving conversion rates & gross margin along with the proactive implementation of our IT Solutions Freight Portal - Weborder. This will be managed by full engagement with customer promoting our strengths and services Understand and implement Rhenus road commercial defined process and best practices. Generating new opportunities for group / branch through telesales and spot quoting Provide customers with accurate and cost-effective quotations in writing and follow up verbally Identification, follow-up and control of potential qualified targets. Extend the information received from each business contact for possible upgrade / added value which includes IT solutions. New Sales - explore and prepare qualified sales leads for shipment volume development /- and monitor and action -/ Existing client base engagement and development in market and shipment volume along with evaluating customer trends and growth and alerting commercial responsible for actions on lower spend customers. Client onboarding new and existing with IT Solutions Recording of sales activity in companies CRM system Achieve given targets as directed by management Developing new gains with additional lanes / volume Existing client base development, maintenance and retain the assigned sales portfolio as well as an active sales pipeline respecting the set targets and regional goals. Support acquisition of new business by way of a consistent presence, structured & targeted actions and follow up Promote and develop services within a defined branch / requirement Identifying new business and cross selling opportunities Maintain appropriate knowledge of the competition and marketplace Building and maintaining relationships with new clients to develop to key account status. Knowledge of how to use IT software.
