Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our multidisciplinary design team on a permanent basis. As part of this role, you will oversee the design aspects of projects from inception to implementation, ensuring compliance with client specifications and current regulatory standards.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead the design process for projects, including scoping and detailed design.
* Ensure all designs meet client specifications and comply with relevant regulations.
* Prepare work scope estimates and quotations for clients.
* Assemble contract works information documents for project delivery.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project health and safety, quality, and environmental matters are addressed.
* Implement project change control and programme requirements.
* Take responsibility as Design Lead on allocated projects.
Requirements:
* Degree/HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
* Experience working in a multidiscipline design team is essential.
* Previous experience working at all design stages is highly desirable.
* Able to work on multiple projects concurrently.
