As the first point of contact for our patients, you will provide excellent customer service, handle appointment bookings, and support the day-to-day administration of the practice. Previous experience in a GP Practice is essential Main duties of the job Act as the first point of contact for clinicians, staff, patients, carers, and external service providers, handling sensitive inquiries with professionalism to ensure a satisfactory resolution. Answer incoming calls and emails, efficiently managing requests for information. Oversee patient flow within the practice, using triage processes to direct patients to the most appropriate healthcare professional. Booking appointments and clinics as required, ensuring deadlines are met. Maintain and update patient records accurately and in a timely manner. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, applying relevant clinical SNOMED-codes to patient records where necessary. Ensure effective handover of reception and administrative tasks to maintain continuity of service. Assist with patient recall processes, providing proactive support to those with long-term health conditions.
