1) The main purpose of the job role is to enable young people with an Education, Health and Care Plan or SEND support needs to overcome barriers to learning and education and help them to make excellent progress towards their future careers, independence and life.
2) The successful candidate will have English and Maths at GCSE Grade 4 or Functional Skills Level 2. They will ideally have experience in supporting in education and the personal attributes required to enable them to establish positive, effective and supportive working relationships with young people.
Responsibilities:
1. Enable young people to overcome barriers to learning.
2. Support learners in making progress towards their future careers.
Minimum Requirements:
1. GCSE Grade 4 in English and Maths or Functional Skills Level 2.
2. Experience in supporting in education.
