Key Responsibilities
1. Assisting with the preparation of contracts, cash flow forecasts, and final accounts.
2. Input into the procurement of key trades, working in line with the project procurement strategy.
3. Managing supply chain relationships through building and maintaining strong relationships.
4. Providing financial information for reporting purposes and attending CVR meetings.
5. Visiting sites to undertake measures and re-measures.
6. Assisting in the management and control of variations.
7. Value, certify, and issue any relevant payment notices for the subcontract works in accordance with the conditions of their subcontract.
8. Ensuring that external valuations are submitted in accordance with conditions of the main contract and that payments are received by the due date.
About You
1. Proven experience of working for other Main Contractors undertaking new build or refurbishment projects.
2. Experience of procuring trade packages.
3. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
4. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
5. Strong numerical and IT skills, especially MS Excel.
6. Experience in re-measurement of key trades packages.
7. Experience of assisting cost control on construction projects.
8. Valid UK driving licence.
9. Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field (desirable).
