A finance lead is required to join a £4-5m business in Cumbria, to manage all financial operations in a very hands-on and varied role. Working closely alongside the Managing Director, with the backing from their parent company, you will also receive support from the Group Finance Director as required.

Your New Role as Finance Manager:
In this standalone finance role for the subsidiary, you will have full autonomy of the finance function with the opportunity to add value in many areas. Specific responsibilities will include:
1. Preparation of monthly management accounts
2. Preparation of budgets and cash forecasts
3. Stock management
4. Balance sheet reconciliations
5. VAT returns
6. Preparation and review of WIP sheets
7. Monitoring and reporting costs against budget
8. KPI analysis including commentary and variance analysis
9. Management of sales ledger and purchase ledger
10. Management of credit control
11. Ongoing review and development of existing systems and processes
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
The ideal candidate will be proven in a similar level role which includes all areas of finance for a small but growing business. A collaborative working approach is required as you will be required to work cross-functionally with non-finance staff to provide meaningful financial insight and advice where required. CIMA/ACCA qualification is preferred, and a study package will be provided for those actively studying.
