The Role
The Fabrication Supervisor will lead the fabrication team to meet production requirements in a safe, timely, and efficient manner, working to exacting standards of quality in a regulated environment.
The Fabrication Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the department including the effective upkeep of the production areas in fabrication, the mentoring and development of an excellent team of welding and production professionals, and driving lean change and opportunities for operational improvement across the production zones.
You will lead and inspire a team to achieve excellent production outcomes and implement best practices and lean processes in the business including 5S, OEE improvements, working to standardized and sustainable processes, and developing the training and progression of the team.
The Person
The successful candidate will be passionate about driving a great manufacturing culture and ideally possess recognizable experience in fabricated/welded assemblies working to high production quality standards.
Ideally conversant to a good level within MIG and TIG welding, you will have experience in organizing and positively influencing a busy production area.
Previous experience implementing lean methodologies and measurement processes is highly advantageous for this role with particular emphasis on aspects such as 5S, OEE improvements, standard operations, and preventative maintenance strategies.
