We're seeking a dedicated Recovery Coordinator to engage and assess our service users, ensuring they receive timely, personalised interventions that cater to their unique needs. For this role you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing a wide range of treatment interventions and programmes. At our Bootle service, we are dedicated to providing support for individuals who access our services. We aim to empower every individual by offering holistic support and personalised treatment to meet their unique needs. We provide a range of options, including one-to-one and group sessions, complemented by medical and clinical treatments. With this role, you will be working in our non-opiate team. Hours : Full-time (37.5 hours per week) Salary : £27,449.53 - £31,529.41 dependent on experience, based on full time working hours, pro rata for part time. Where: Merseyside The Role: As a valued member of our team in Bootle, you'll be taking on a central role with responsibilities including: Offering support to service users from the point of entry into the service throughout their treatment journey. Conducting screening, assessment, and developing recovery plans with onward referrals. Minimising harm related to drug and alcohol use for both the individual and the wider community. Advocating access to partnership services. Collaborating with each individual to facilitate social (re)integration, empowering them to lead meaningful lives, emphasising recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination. About You: To thrive in this role, we're looking for someone who: Demonstrates a solid understanding of substance misuse issues and has experience in this or a related field. Possesses excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with proficient IT skills. Takes a proactive approach, working well independently with strong time management and ability to prioritise work. Holds a good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and best practices. Is a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with a diverse range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders. Can successfully manage change while prioritising the needs of those who use our service. Actively seeks learning opportunities to enhance professional knowledge and skills, contributing to the learning and development of others.
