About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging French lessons across Key Stages 3-5, following exam specifications and incorporating authentic cultural materials. Plan and deliver lessons that foster language skills, cultural awareness, and communication proficiency, utilizing a variety of teaching methods and resources, including language technology and cultural activities. Assess student progress through oral presentations, written assignments, and language assessments, providing detailed feedback to support their development. Contribute to the development of the French curriculum, integrating current linguistic trends and cultural practices, and participate in departmental planning. Organize and lead language exchanges, cultural trips, and language-related activities, promoting student engagement and cultural immersion. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong French subject knowledge, including linguistics, literature, and culture. Demonstrated experience teaching French to A-Level, with a focus on both language skills and cultural understanding. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and linguistic skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
