Group QHSE and Sustainability Director
Location: United Kingdom
Environment: Hybrid : Regular Travel to London and Luton
Salary: GBP 100,000 : GBP 150,000 + Bonus and Benefits
An opportunity has arisen for an experiencedGroup QHSE and Sustainability Directorto lead and drive health, safety, quality, and environmental performance across a complex and growing organisation. This role will play a key part in shaping the company's strategic approach while maintaining a hands:on presence to ensure a strong safety culture.
As theGroup QHSE and Sustainability Director, you will:
: Develop and lead the organisation'sQHSE and Sustainability strategy, working closely with senior leadership.
: Manage a team of specialists acrossHealth and Safety, Quality, Environment, and Transport Compliance.
: Embed apeople:first safety culture, ensuring health, safety, and sustainability are at the core of operations.
: Overseecompliance, risk management, accreditations, and ISO Integrated Management Systems.
: Use data:driven insights to influence decision:making and implementbest practice safety initiatives.
: Managenational travel, supporting various sites and operations across the UK.
The Ideal Candidate
: Proven leadership experiencein QHSE and Sustainability at a senior level, ideally withinfacilities management, security, or similar industries.
: Strong knowledge ofISO Integrated Management Systemsand compliance frameworks.
: A strategic mindset with ahands:on, pragmatic approach.
: The ability toinfluence, engage, and drive cultural changeat all levels of an organisation.
: Recognised Health, Safety and Environmental Management qualifications(e.g. NEBOSH Diploma, CMIOSH, IEMA).
: Experience managing large, remote teams across multiple sites.
