Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Kitchen Project Manager to join our team at Waltons and Company Group Ltd.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the design, supply, and installation of commercial catering equipment, ensuring seamless project delivery and excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinating kitchen design, supply, and installation projects from initial brief to handover.
* Developing strong working relationships with clients through regular update meetings and effective communication.
* Attending site meetings to ensure smooth project progress and resolve any issues promptly.
* Conducting accurate site surveys to inform design department's production of kitchen drawings.
* Signing off technical drawings for bespoke manufacturing.
* Sourcing materials required for installation, including plumbing, electrical, and gas works.
* Maintaining accountability for project spend and ensuring it stays within agreed budget limits.
* Managing lead times to ensure timely achievement of project milestones.
* Collaborating with the team to meet both departmental and personal KPIs.
* Identifying and proposing ideas to enhance internal operations and boost productivity.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in project management within the commercial catering sector.
* Gas safety awareness and basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical works.
* Demonstrated success in building key customer relationships.
* Flexibility with frequent travel to customer sites.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Prior experience in a Design/Draughtsman role would be advantageous.
Salary Information:
The estimated salary range for this position is between £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
