Main Purposeof Job of the Children s HomeDeputy Manageris:
Responsible forthe isting the manager in the management coordination anddevelopment of a range of quality theutic services for young peoplethat live at ourHome.
Toensure the Home exceeds all standards as stated in the Children sHome Regulations2015.
Toprovide effective empathetic and dynamic leadership and tocoordinate thestaff.
Tolead by example and be a role model for the team members andchildren.
Topromote team development and effective team working.
Toensure that all team members have meaningfulsupervision.
Toidentify those that may need support and have the ability toImplement this to support theirteam.
Tobe responsible for quality inductions for their staffteam.
Toensure the paperwork in the Home isaccurate.
Toensure that all Health and Safety Regulations including firemedication vehicles and all premises arefollowed.
Toensure that all finance budgets control administration and recordscomply withprocedures.
We arelooking for a Children s HomeDeputy Manager thefollowing ss andattributes:
* MUSThave experience in Residential Children s Social Care with aminimum of one years experience ideally as a senior supportworker.
* Anunderstanding of Trauma Informed Care and theutic background. Aworking knowledge of PACE and effective understanding of what atheutic placement looks like for children is advantageous or awillingness tolearn.
* Strongleadership and effectivecommunication.
* Holda Level 3 NVQ diploma in ResidentialChildcare.
* UKDrivingLicense
* Confidenceand Understanding of The Children s Home Regulations and alllegislation ociated with the running of a registered Children sHome.
* Confidencewhen dealing with people the ability to challenge guide andmentor.
* Aclear DBS and positive references from all companies where you haveworked with children or vulnerableadults.
* Theability and strength of character to deal withchallenging.
