Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage the Children with Disabilities team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to children and young people with complex needs.
2. Strategic Development: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans that continuously improve services to better meet the needs of children with disabilities.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work alongside families, health professionals, education providers, and other stakeholders to gather comprehensive information and ensure coordinated services, ensuring children's voices are central in decision-making.
4. Compliance and Safeguarding: Ensure all services comply with relevant legislation, including the Children and Families Act 2014 and the Children Act 1989, while safeguarding children from harm, abuse, or neglect.
5. Performance and Quality Assurance: Monitor team performance, implement rigorous quality assurance processes, and continuously review service delivery to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
