Are you irritated with the lack of regular and consistent supply work that impacts your weekly income?
Are you a qualified teacher looking to work in excellent academic secondary schools where there's no preparing, planning and marking involved?
Are you a qualified teacher looking for a stress-free and flexible schedule to explore other life pursuits?
Teaching is becoming a challenging and stressful profession where there's an increase each year in teachers leaving the sector due to continuous stressors such as impressing inspectors, meeting exam success grades, managing pupil behaviour, and preparing effective lessons.
With general supply, you have the freedom to work when and where you want. General supply teaching appeals to a range of teachers. PGCE graduates love being general supply teachers because they can chip away at their induction year without planning and marking. Additionally, after an intense PGCE year, it is a good way to unwind for a long career in teaching. Alternatively, experienced teachers want to explore other avenues but are unsure which career path to pursue. Therefore, being a general supply teacher enables a steady income while gaining other qualifications and experiences.
Unlike other agencies, we ensure that you have work on the days that you're available, whether that be 1 day or 5 days each week. To stick to this promise, we have a guaranteed work scheme that ensures we pay you if we cannot find you work (within a 45-minute radius). We also try our best to pre-book work beforehand, so you know where you're going each day. Additionally, Academics works with excellent schools with a high academic background and minimal behaviour issues.
