Job Title: Class Teacher
Location: Colne GrangeSchool, Uxbridge UB8 2YG
Salary: Up to £45,000.00 per annum plus a Welcome Bonus of£2,000**
Hours: 37.5 hours perweek; Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

About the role
Werequire an experienced and qualified teacher who has the ability tomake a significant contribution to our school. This role isbased in our Secondary Site, teaching Key Stage 3 classesconsisting of pupils aged between 11 and 13, but we are happy toaccept applications from candidates with QTS status, whether theirexperience is in Primary or Secondary Teaching.
You will take a creative approach to teaching pupilsaccording to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of theschool curriculum in a way that maximises pupils’ achievement andability to develop. The pupils may display some challengingbehaviour due to their different needs, so staff are required tohave experience.
Within this role, you willteach pupils in a fun and engaging way. You will also work with thesupport staff within the classroom to ensure that each pupil isgetting the support they require, but also to ensure the smoothrunning of sessions and allow each pupil to have a positivelearning environment. You will provide feedback to SLT, parents andcarers.
For this role, you should:
* Have previous experience teaching inan SEN school or extensive experience working with pupils withcomplex additional needs.
* Have experience teaching and be ableto plan fun and engaging sessions.
* Have a UK QTS or QTLS – this is anessential qualification for the role

Colne Grange School is a new specialist ASD provision. Wehave an exciting opportunity for a SEN Teacher to join our team dueto growth and a new extension to our school. As part of theHillingdon Manor group of schools and the Outcomes First Group,Colne Grange will offer day provision to pupils with Autism fromthe ages of 3 to 11 years old.
Colne Grangewill provide specialist education for c35 pupils, aged between 4-11years. Colne Grange deploys a wide range of teaching strategies toengage and develop the progress of learners, who present with arange of learning difficulties and styles. Our pupils are taught insmaller class sizes and work towards an Equals Semi-FormalCurriculum and National Curriculum expectations whereappropriate.
For over 16 years Options Autismhave provided care and education to pupils and adults with autism,complex needs and learning difficulties. As part of Outcomes FirstGroup, we are leading our sector in setting and delivering newapproaches that provide measurable outcomes for those in ourcare.
