Tibshelf Community School is an oversubscribed 11-16 school with 830 students on roll. We were inspected by Ofsted (September 2021) and were judged to be a ‘Good’ school in all categories.
We are situated close to Chesterfield and Alfreton on the edge of the Peak District National Park and have good transport links, being close to the A38 / A61 / M1 and in an ideal location for people travelling in from Sheffield, Nottingham, Derby, or surrounding areas.
Are you passionate about Physical Education and want to make a real difference to our students?
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational Teacher of Boys PE who will have a positive impact on the growth and development of our students. We are looking for someone to join a highly aspirational faculty who is devoted to promoting successful outcomes.
You will be part of a team that is highly proactive and enthusiastic, and always look to provide extra opportunities and extra-curricular activities. Candidates will have the drive and motivation to continually contribute to the department whilst enriching the lives of our students. We are looking for an inclusive teacher, who consistently sets high expectations with an innovative and engaging approach to their teaching, supporting all students and maximising their progress. Ideally, you will have expertise in any of the following areas: - football, rugby and cricket.
If you feel that you share our vision and want to be part of a dedicated team, anyone interested in applying for the post is strongly encouraged to come to Tibshelf Community School to have a look around and informally meet staff and pupils. Please contact Mrs Tracey Johnston-Shaw ( recruitment@tibshelf.derbyshire.sch.uk ) to arrange a visit.
We hope that what we are aspiring to do here will enthuse and excite you too.
