A small rural school is currently looking for a KS2 Supply Teacher to cover a long-term sickness absence.
The role is to start as soon as possible and to run initially for four weeks, but it has the potential to run longer.
The school is a warm, welcoming place with the children and community at the centre of everything it does.
Your new KS2 Supply Teaching job
The school needs a KS2 Supply Teacher who is willing to be flexible and supportive during this phase of absence. They are unsure of the level of planning in place, so they want someone who is happy to pick up full class teacher responsibilities if needed. The role will be based in a mixed Y5/6 class with 22 pupils. The role is initially for four weeks but could run longer.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher status - experienced teachers and ECT's considered
- The ability to commit on a long term basis for initially four weeks but beyond if needed
- Two positive employment references (or two placements and university references for ECT's)
- Experience teaching in KS2 previously
- Open to planning and supporting school with all elements of the classroom if needed
- A teacher who is good at building relationships and positively managing behaviour
