We are seeking a Specialist Optometrist to deliver core and specialist optometry clinics, recommending defined care and treatment plans. This role requires providing high-quality patient care and excellent communication skills within a supportive team environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Performing core optometry duties: paediatric/adult refraction, low vision assessments, and specialist paediatric, corneal, and contact lens clinics.
* Diagnosing, treating, and monitoring anterior eye pathology and post-operative care under the supervision of a Consultant Ophthalmologist.
* Prescribing complex optical appliances and non-optical aids.
* Diagnosing and treating unique and complex cases, prescribing appropriate advice for patients.
* Managing a personal case load, planning care based on medical evidence, specialist knowledge, and departmental protocols.

$60,000 - $80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
