Managing Quantity Surveyor - Civils
Company: Multi-disciplinary contractor operating throughout the commercial and residential construction sectors. This company has proven, during expansion, the high value it places on development and retention of staff, promoting internally wherever possible.
Role
This position has become available following a period of growth. A Managing QS is needed to focus on a particularly busy area of work, managing contracts, reporting commercial information upwards through the Director and managing a small team of junior surveyors. This is an office-based role with some flexibility to work from home when needed. Some travel out of the area will be required occasionally.
Experience Required
Quantity surveying skills, ideally gained within a high volume, fast-paced project environment, are essential to this role. Ambition to manage a team and progress beyond the Managing QS position are also sought after characteristics because the company has further plans for growth, which will bring further opportunities for individual progression. Experience within general civil engineering, highways, water or other infrastructure sectors is required.
Remuneration
