We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Applications Manager to join our growing team in the Thame area.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and optimisation of electrical applications within our product lines. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product development, and sales, to ensure that our electrical solutions meet customer requirements and industry standards.
Electrical Applications Manager role:
1. Lead and manage the electrical applications team, providing technical guidance and support.
2. Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to design, test, and validate electrical systems.
3. Assess the suitability of new auxiliary devices and prepare corresponding wiring schematics and test procedures.
4. Interface with clients to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications as well as interpreting client supplied specifications.
5. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices in all applications.
6. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of solutions all the way through to overseeing FAT.
7. Provide technical expertise during customer presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations and training (internal and external).
8. Stay updated on the latest advancements in electrical technology and integrate relevant innovations into our offerings.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues, providing hands-on support as needed.
The Successful Electrical Applications Manager Candidate:
1. Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industrial experience.
2. Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and design principles.
3. Proven experience in devising and implementing electrical protection schemes.
4. Ability to align product technology with customer power distribution needs.
5. Proficiency in 3D CAD systems.
6. Willingness and flexibility to travel nationally when required.
7. Full UK Driving licence.
Experience and understanding of the following would be beneficial:
1. SCADA
2. RTU
3. Switchgear
4. Automation systems
5. Power distribution (commercial & Industrial)
Benefits:
* Salary - £55,000 - £60,000
* 25 days hol + 8 days Bank hols
* 7% pension contribution
* Up to 10% Bonus
* Hybrid working (2 days in office)
