Job Title: Integration, Verification, Validation and Qualification Manager (IVVQM)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional to lead the development of integration, verification, validation and qualification strategies for large-scale projects within Thales Optronics and Missile Electronics (OME) business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing IVVQ strategies, managing tasks, and ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions to customers in our Land, Sea, and Air domains.
This role entails a wide range of responsibilities, including leading and coordinating IVVQ activities, preparing plans and schedules, liaising with stakeholders, specifying test equipment, and proposing IVVQ scenarios.
* Lead IVVQ activities on behalf of Thales OME with the Customer
* Prepare IVVQ plan, work breakdown structure, and schedule activities
* Liaise with project/bid requirements lead/team and the customer to ensure IVVQ is integral to the planning process
* Prepare System Integration Verification Validation & Qualification activities
* Define IVVQ strategy, establish requirements, and perform estimates and schedule
* Specify test equipment required, including special-to-type test equipment
* Specify, select, and deploy methodologies, tools/platforms necessary for IVVQ and acceptance activities
* Propose IVVQ scenarios and manage their implementation
* Perform or organise testing on the manufacturer's site or at the customer's premises or at an External Test Facility
* Review internally and externally generated Technical Artefacts from an IVVQ perspective
* Operate as IVVQ Engineering Team Lead and ensure delivery of all IVVQ work products to time, cost, and quality
* Participate in or lead governance reviews associated with the IVVQ phase of the product development lifecycle
* Support customer meetings for IVVQ activities and lead product demonstrations with key stakeholders and customers
* Lead collation of evidence to support population of the product VVRM in support of system certification
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, experience in successfully defining and leading IVVQ of multi-disciplinary projects, and a methodical approach to achieving customer needs.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be highly customer-focused, and able to work in a fast-moving environment with multiple parallel objectives.
Knowledge and experience of the defence industry or highly regulated industries would be beneficial to this role.

This role will work closely with the Programme Manager, Engineering Manager, and Project Design Authority (PDA) for specific projects.
This role requires SC Clearance. It is advantageous if currently held, however, if not currently held, it is a requirement that the successful applicant undergoes, achieves, and maintains SC Clearance.
