What You’ll Do
We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Product Manager to lead the charge in driving profitable growth for our Power Tool Accessories (STANLEY, IRWIN & Black+Decker) and Black+Decker Power Tool Kits portfolio. This pivotal role will influence our product offerings across the EMEA ANZ region, making a tangible impact on our business success.
You’ll lead precise new product launches, mastering the NPI Phase Gate Process for timely, high-quality rollouts. Be the strategic communicator, coordinating product launches and promotions with marketing and sales teams. Manage the entire product lifecycle and uncover market opportunities to fuel growth. Collaborate on strategies that exceed financial targets and develop competitive pricing through market analysis. Ensure flawless launch coordination with seamless distribution of samples and information. Shape the future of our product success!
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate closely with the Senior Product Manager, Global BU, Engineering, PCM, and Regional Commercial teams to ensure effective product launches and commercialisation.
* Align all NPIs with strategic brand and channel directives set by the EU Business Leadership Team.
* Conduct end-user research to inform product development and enhance market relevance.
* Partner with Finance, Marketing, and Sales to establish pricing and platform strategies tailored for the European market.
* Drive EU packaging requirements and contribute to the global strategic development of the Business Unit.
* Create and adapt support materials for NPI launches, including POS merchandisers and product content, in collaboration with the central Brand Team.
* Monitor and optimise SKU counts and inventory, focusing on reducing excess and obsolete items.
* Identify and drive market research initiatives to inform strategic decisions.
* Actively participate in weekly and monthly meetings to drive category growth and report on progress.

* Degree in Marketing, Business, Product, or Engineering preferred.
