Audit & Accounts Manager
We are excited to announce an opportunity for an Audit Manager to join a fast-growing client of ours, located in Berkshire/West London. This position has emerged as a result of the firm's impressive growth, with an organic increase of over 20% in the past year.
As an Audit Manager, you will primarily work with SMEs from diverse range of sectors. These clients are generally international companies aiming to expand their UK footprint. The role offers optional international travel a few times a year and involves a portfolio which is split approximately 60/70% audit and 40/30% accounts and tax.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing all aspects of audit and accounts assignments, including planning, budgeting, and time management.
* Delegating tasks to and supervising the team.
* Conducting detailed reviews of files and providing feedback to the team.
* Finalising files for Partner review.
* Motivating and encouraging the team, providing timely constructive feedback.
* Overseeing and mentoring trainees.
* Assisting with training and providing upward feedback.
* Assisting with the preparation and presentation of new client pitches.
* Providing innovative ideas to improve current systems related to client or staff matters.
* Assisting with billing procedures and debt collection where appropriate.
Requirements:
* ACA or ACCA qualification, ideally with 3+ years of post-qualification experience.
* Experience with audit, accounts, and tax, with at least 50% in audit.
* Experience managing a portfolio of clients.
