Job description
This is a fantastic opportunity to provide support to the Operational and Customer Services Directorate (OCSD) in managing headcount and MI, providing the required resource for business needs in a people focussed environment that champions recognition, involvement, development and support for all. This would also also involve monitoring headcount allocation to ensure the OCSD business areas meet their annual provision.
The role requires an enhanced level of stakeholder engagement and there will be a requirement for the successful candidate to produce and deliver stakeholder reports, and to attend monthly HR meetings.
This role brings the opportunity to network and build relationships with colleagues of various seniority levels. There is also the opportunity for line management experience. �
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:�
1. Coordinating changes within staff headcount, providing forcasted impacts for management information use across the Agency and liaise with other OCSD Central Support personnel to make them aware of staff movements for use with training and payroll activity.
2. Monitoring data contained in various monthly reports received from HR, deputising, disciplinary, overtime etc. Checking that the approval process has been correctly adhered to and action inaccuracies with relevant manager.
3. Embedding a people focused environment that champions recognition, involvement, development and support for all.

Person specification
To be successful in this role you will need to be an effective communicator with the ability to liaise with stakeholders of varying seniority levels. You will also be able to use effective communication skills to present headcount/MI findings to a variety of audiences. Taking into consideration different audience needs and requirements.
You will have the ability to interpret headcount forecasts and to present back key findings to ensure business areas (within the directorate) meet their annual provision.
You will have the ability to use these findings also to challenge and make clear recommendations, in line with business requirements � you will be resilient.
