About The Position
Dometic is a global market leader in the mobile living industry. Millions of people around the world use Dometic products in outdoor, residential, and professional applications.
Dometic is a global leader in the area of Mobile Power Solutions (MPS) and further growth in this market is a key focus area. In order to enable further growth within MPS, we are looking to strengthen our sales organisation in the UK with a dedicated MPS Sales Manager.
This position is a combination of predominantly field and office based (at our offices in Blandford, Dorset). Daily travel and in person presence is an ongoing expectation of the successful candidate.
Your Main Responsibilities
The MPS Sales Manager is responsible to execute the defined MPS sales strategy and develop Dometic’s UK MPS business. The MPS Sales Manager will focus on and be responsible for growing the business in both the CPV (commercial passenger vehicle) and RV (recreational vehicle) aftermarket channels. The MPS Sales Manager will work closely with the CPV and RV channel specialists but will ultimately be the person responsible for the MPS result in the UK market.
The MPS Sales Manager will be responsible for direct contact with the Customers which depending on the market and chosen channel can be distributors, wholesalers, dealers, special vehicles manufacturers and will negotiate all conditions in line with the overall strategy.
Responsibilities include:
* Developing and executing a UK growth strategy which is in line with the broader MPS EMEA strategy, setting clear priorities and identifying opportunities
* Assisting and improving the skillset of the RV and CPV aftermarket sales organisation in relation to MPS
* Providing support to the existing sales organisation in case of technical queries and be a key point of contact for all sales related activities within the defined sales area
* Responsible for creating and coordinating the annual budget planning process
* Act as escalation point and coordinator for Customer complaints
* Provide Customers with the necessary technical support
* Close coordination and project leader in Customer projects with other internal functions such as engineering, purchase, quality, operations, finance etc.
* Screening and analysis of respective market segment, definition of long-term market and Customer strategy
* Preparation and execution of company and product presentations for Customers
* Participation at relevant exhibitions
* Daily business travels and visits to Customer organisations, manufacturing units and own office locations
Qualifications and Experiences:
* 5 or more years of relevant experience in the business area of mobile power products, ideally within either the CPV, SVM or RV aftermarket areas
* Proven track record within aftermarket field sales and account management for B2B and B2C Customers
* Experience selling technical products and services, preferably within the special vehicle manufacturing sector
* Experience of selling and/or working with to all types of Customer groups – wholesalers, dealerships, e-commerce and installing Customers
* Full UK Driving licence

* Competent with Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
