Site Attendant (Part-time - flexible working hours available) We have a part time vacancy within our Facilities team. We are looking for a Site Attendant to join our team within our Currency division. The role of the Site Attendant is to ensure the production floor and employee areas are safe, clean and well-maintained. This role includes cleaning of different areas, waste removal, trucking, portering and other duties. This is an excellent opportunity to join an iconic British manufacturer and global leader of Banknotes. This is a permanent, part-time vacancy based at our Debden site. What will you be doing? Collating and organizing recycling to be disposed of Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles Transporting waste material to designated collection points Identifying and reporting required fixtures, along with H&S near-misses/risks/hazards Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors Dusting, damp wiping, washing or polishing the furniture, ledges, windowsills and external surfaces of cupboards, shelves and fitments Replenishing consumable items (soap, rolls, paper towels) when required Using chemical agents in the discharge of cleaning operation or maintenance procedures (after receiving proper instruction and training) Keep a check on cleaning stock levels and inform the appropriate people of low stock levels (eg. cleaning products) Carry out routine administrative tasks required from time-to-time eg. checking off cleaning tasks on daily cleaning specification sheets Operate relevant equipment safely Maintain tidy and organised workspaces and storage areas What qualifications, skills and experience are we looking for?
