My client is looking for a Mobile M&E Engineer to join their team in Isleworth on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
£42k + Van + Fuel card
General Overview:
To work as a Mechanical engineer. This role is to provide both reactive and planned maintenance tasks as well as replacements through minor works and lifecycle. The role is to maintain HVAC systems, manage the site's BMS, and oversee the daily operation of cooling towers.
Responsibilities:
1. Desirable to have an NVQ (or similar) in electrical and Mechanical engineering.
2. Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the sites are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made.
3. Ensure that suitable consumables are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works. Provide parts lists and estimated timescales for remedial works.
4. Ensure that all relevant paperwork/CAFM is completed regarding planned and reactive activities and that it is passed without delay to the contract administrator.
5. Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe working practices.
6. Develop a good working relationship with all members of staff, subcontractors, and client representatives.
7. Ensure the provision of a safe and healthy working environment, including the wearing of uniform and PPE.
8. Ensure that all plant rooms are kept in a clean and tidy condition.
9. Supervise and monitor subcontractors' works while they are on site carrying out electrical and FM-related tasks.
10. Arrange and provide holiday and sickness cover at short notice and be flexible in their working patterns.
11. Undertake lone working when and where required, subject to passing satisfactory training.
12. Ensure assigned tasks are actioned and completed as appropriate.
13. Ensure awareness and compliance with the contractual KPI's/SLA's.
14. Keep the CAFM system up to date and ensure PPM and reactive tickets are closed out with accurate data captured.
15. Carry out any other task as directed by the account management team.
16. Provide support in emergency situations to ensure business and operational continuity.
17. Respond in a timely manner to verbal and written requests.
18. Produce information for quotations.
19. Support the Helpdesk as required when reporting or updating planned and reactive activities.
20. Be available for out-of-hours call-out support for the contract if required.
21. Gain Technical Appointments as required e.g. LVCP and Water Hygiene CP to permit lamp changing and L8 activities e.g. tap flushing.
22. Produce Condition / Dilapidation Reports as required for fabric assets.
23. Inform the supervisor immediately if dangerous circumstances occur.
