We're looking for someone to join our team in perhaps one of the most exciting times in the brand's history to bring this transformation to life.
Purpose of the Role
As a member of the Diageo brand team, you will be the guardian of one of Diageo's oldest and most respected brands (Justerini & Brooks) and work to bring our brand to life through experiences in the fine wine & rare whisky world at the highest execution standards, engaging our private clients, trade customers and wine press.
Key Accountabilities:
* Running of the experiences calendar: En Primeur key tastings, portfolio/regional tastings, and running end-to-end events in London, Edinburgh, and Hong Kong.
* Coordinating events calendar for Burlington Arcade: Overseeing the experiences calendar run at Burlington Arcade and ensuring a coordinated experience calendar.
* Growers Support: Connecting our internal teams and customers to our growers to improve wine education and sales.
* Wine PR & Partnerships: Ensure wine experiences generate the right PR by working alongside our PR agency.
* Internal: Keeping the team advised of the experience's schedule and sharing best practices.
In general:
* Ensure adherence to brand guidelines at all Justerini & Brooks events.
* Handle experiential budget optimally and in time.
* Drive a robust measurement & evaluation process of our comms and activations.
Qualifications and experience required
* A strong events, hospitality or PR background with an extensive experience portfolio.
* Deep knowledge of wine - WSET level 3 minimum.
* Good knowledge of the spirits industry with a focus on whisky.
* Ability to handle and prioritise multiple events and deadlines across multiple countries.
* Run and maintain events budgets.
* Outstanding verbal and written communications skills and attention to detail.
* Willingness to work hard and roll up sleeves to get work done.
* Project management mentorship and acting as a subject matter authority.
* This is an office-based role but the successful candidate will be required to work flexibly in the evenings when required.
