Project Manager (Fenestration - Windows, Doors and Curtain Walling)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Experienced Project Manager to join a reputable company with a strong track record of delivering retrofit, refurbishment, and new-build projects. This role offers the chance to manage a range of projects from £50k to £1m, predominantly within London and the Southeast. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with a solid background in fenestration project management.
Day-to-day of the role:
1. Liaise with contractors, site managers, contract managers, and surveyors to gain a general understanding of projects and work programmes.
2. Organise and manage labour, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the specified quality.
3. Monitor site progress and programme, undertaking pre-site inspection visits to ensure readiness for installation.
4. Manage employees, contractors, and subcontractors, attending client progress meetings.
5. Supervise the delivery, checking, and distribution of materials on site.
6. Undertake project planning to meet client requirements and construction schedules.
7. Order materials required on site and schedule deliveries.
8. Undertake detailed snagging lists and arrange for completion of these works.
9. Complete all necessary site reports and paperwork, including site surveys as required.
10. Undertake quality checks, recording delays, variations, etc., and securing client variation orders.
11. Track project costs effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years' experience managing fenestration projects.
2. Experience working on NEW BUILD projects.
3. Good understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
4. Knowledge of window and door products and installation.
5. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
6. Proven knowledge of fenestration product fabrication principles and limitations.
7. Familiarity with current building regulations & legislation requirements.
8. Ability to read, understand, and interpret construction drawings.
9. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
10. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
11. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
12. Valid CSCS card (SSSTS or SMSTS would be advantageous).
