Hourly pay rate:
£16 per hour
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced carer to provide support for our nearly 12-year-old
son who has complex health needs. He is fully PEG-fed, requires frequent medications, and is hoisted for mobility.
The ideal candidate will have experience with seizures, dystonia, and working with children with severe disabilities.

Duties include:
Assist with daily routines, including PEG feeding and medication administration
Provide support during seizures and other health episodes
Help with mobility using hoisting equipment
Offer emotional and physical support in a safe and caring environment
Work with the family to ensure continuity of care before and after school, weekends, and during school
holidays
Candidate qualities:
Previous experience working with children who have complex health needs, particularly those with
seizures and dystonia, is highly advantageous
Ability to follow detailed care plans
Kind, patient, and empathetic nature
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be comfortable working in a family home with another child, a cat, and a dog
