Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: North West England, Lancashire, Poulton-le-Fylde Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £12.90 - £14.00 Per hour Job Duties: Supporting students with special educational needs in their learning and development Assisting classroom teachers in planning and delivering tailored educational activities Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional help Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment Assisting with behaviour management and promoting positive behaviour Collaborating with other staff members and parents to support student progress Required Qualifications: A relevant teaching assistant qualification or equivalent Experience working with children with special educational needs Good understanding of SEN support strategies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Education: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics Experience: Prior experience in a similar role within an educational setting Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of SEN practises and procedures Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Excellent communication skills with students, colleagues, and parents Strong organisational skills Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in specific areas of SEN support First Aid certification Working Conditions: Working within a school environment Full-time hours, temporary position Potential for some variation in daily tasks and responsibilities All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
