We are looking for Passenger Care Ambassadors (PCA) to join our existing team at Luton DART. We are seeking individuals who will ensure that our passengers have a great experience from the start to the end of their journey.
Our PCAs support the operation of the gate-line at our Parkway DART Station or Central Terminal Station. The purpose of the PCA role is to ensure that customers have a great experience as they travel through the station. As a PCA, you will be passionate about delivering a brilliant passenger experience by being friendly, knowledgeable, and resolving any problems that passengers may experience while traveling through the station. You will be part of the front-line team, expected to look smart and professional, and adhere to uniform standards. A uniform and footwear will be provided as part of this role.
The PCA role is varied, and below are some of the responsibilities:
* Revenue protection for Luton DART by ensuring that all guests have the correct ticket to travel.
* Ensuring that the station is safe and secure by undertaking security checks.
* Assisting guests with their queries and helping them on their journey.
* Additional duties as necessary for operational purposes.
Languages: Fluency in English is required for this role. Speaking any additional languages would be advantageous.
Experience: At least 2 years of customer service experience in a customer-facing role. Experience in an airport or rail environment would be advantageous but not essential.
Training: Full training will be provided.
Hours: This role involves shift working on a roster basis, with a mixture of early and late shifts over a 7-day period. The early shift is from 0600-1600, and the late shift is from 1200-2200. We are currently looking for individuals to join our team working night shifts only, from 2100-0700.
