Specific Key Accountabilities
* Leading a maintenance planning team and making decisions to achieve optimum productivity, efficiency, and use of resources within the workshop environment.
* To supervise the work that is carried out day to day, to ensure that quality standards are met.
* Keep all vehicle records up to date in hard copies and in electronic format.
* Action Vehicle Breakdowns in a timely manner to prevent excessive downtime.
* Keep vehicle history in an orderly system.
* Raise all necessary PO's as and when required.
* Responsible for ensuring that compliance and all VOSA regulations are adhered to.
* Ensure health and safety procedures are observed and always maintained.
* Regularly review the departmental operations and processes, whilst identifying improvements in efficiency and costs
* Communicate with the Workshop team to supply information regarding priorities and objectives and to provide direction daily to ensure these are achieved.
* Carry out all other duties as directed by the Company.
