+ Perform general office duties including: responding to email and telephone enquiries, taking and recording messages accurately, responding to queries appropriately.
+ Operate the Trust's switchboard, answering incoming calls and transferring callers appropriately using tools provided.
+ Undertake training in new skills required for the Coordination Centre's effective operation and to maintain those skills in line with supervision and appraisal.
+ Provide postal services for the trust including signing and recording of mail.
+ Appointment to this post is subject to the trust receiving satisfactory references covering 3 years of employment or study. Please ask your referees to respond promptly to reference requests.

Do you thrive working in a busy role where no two shifts are alike? Are you a customer-focused problem solver who works well under pressure?
We are seeking full time (37.5 hours per week) or part time (minimum of 22.5 hours per week) Receptionists to join our busy Reception and Out of Hours Coordination Centre based at the Warneford Hospital in Oxford.
You'll be the first point of contact for visitors, staff and service users therefore it is essential that you have excellent communication skills, show empathy and have a compassionate manner as some callers may sometimes be in a distressed state.
As part of the role, you will be required to work shifts including: 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 / 22:00 - 06:00 / 09:00-17:00.

Please note this role requires extended hours, weekends and bank holidays working patterns. Enhanced hourly rates will be paid.
