Job Description: Delegate Liaison Executive
QA Media is an events business, based in London, that runs conferences for software development professionals in London, Paris, New York, Chicago, Toronto and Singapore.
Our delegate audiences work in finance, healthcare and e-commerce.
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Delegate Liaison Executive to join our team and play a vital role in the success of our events. This role will be responsible for supporting the recruitment and onboarding of delegates for our upcoming events, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all participants.
Job Title: Delegate Liaison Executive
Reports to: Head of Marketing/CMO
Location: Remote
Type: Full Time/Part Time
Salary: £25,000-£30,000 depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
* Delegate Outreach: Proactively identify and contact potential delegates through various channels, including email and LinkedIn
* Database Management: Maintain and update the delegate database, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
* Application Processing: Manage the delegate application process, including screening applications, verifying information, and communicating with applicants regarding their status.
* Communication: Provide timely and professional communication to delegates, answering inquiries, providing information about the event/program, and addressing any concerns.
* Marketing Support: Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to attract potential delegates, including creating engaging content for social media and email campaigns.
* Onboarding: Onboard delegates, providing them with necessary information and resources to ensure their smooth participation in the event/program.
* Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the delegate recruitment team, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and managing correspondence.
* Event Support: Assist with on-site delegate management during the event/program, as needed.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Experience in marketing or preferably in a related field (e.g., event management) OR you are a recent graduate with a degree in events management or marketing.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* A positive and professional attitude.
* Use of LinkedIn
* Experience of using a CRM is useful but not essential
