Job Description
Accounts Assistant responsibilities:
* Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports
* Maintaining records of invoices, payments, and transactions
* Reconciling bank and ledger accounts
* Providing administrative support to the Accounting & Finance department
* Processing company expenditures and preparing expense reports
* Collaborating with the Accounting & Finance team to manage company financial procedures
* Assisting with budget preparation
* Preparing VAT returns for the company
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
* A foundation of accounting and financial knowledge
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
* Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
* Excellent organisational abilities
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Experience with accounting software is advantageous
