We are currently seeking Technical Safety Engineers with at least 3 years of relevant experience to join a dynamic team of safety and risk management professionals. This role involves contributing to risk and safety studies across sectors such as oil and gas, chemicals, distilleries, and alternative energy. The position is based in one of several UK locations (Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Warrington, or London) and may require occasional travel within the UK and internationally.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
Candidates should hold a relevant science or engineering degree and demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills. While prior experience in all areas is not necessary, knowledge or familiarity with some of the following is desirable:
* Understanding of safety cases and health and safety management systems (HSE MS).
* Experience with hazard identification techniques such as HAZID and HAZOP.
* Awareness of risk assessment methods like LOPA and Bowtie analysis.
* Exposure to fire and explosion consequence modelling tools (e.g., PHAST) or similar.
* General knowledge of quantitative risk assessment (QRA) or other safety studies.
* Familiarity with DSEAR/ATEX and hazardous area classification.
* Experience in preparing reports and documentation.
Additional experience in functional safety, human factors, or project management is a bonus but not required.
