Electrical Manager
Location: Chichester (Hybrid role)
Salary: DOE (Dependent on Experience)
My client is seeking an experienced Electrical Manager to join their dynamic team to play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of electrical systems within their construction projects.
The Role
As an Electrical Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of electrical installations, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing on-site teams, and liaising with stakeholders to deliver projects efficiently and safely. This hybrid role requires regular access to our Chichester office and travel to sites across London, the Home Counties, West Sussex, and the South Coast.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, coordinate, and oversee electrical installations on construction projects.
2. Ensure all electrical work complies with UK regulations and safety standards.
3. Manage and supervise electricians and subcontractors to ensure timely and high-quality work.
4. Work closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to align electrical work with overall project objectives.
5. Conduct inspections, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.
6. Ensure project budgets and schedules are maintained, providing updates to senior management.
7. Promote health & safety best practices across all electrical activities.
What We're Looking For:
1. 18th Edition Electrical Qualification (Essential).
2. Proven experience transitioning from on-the-tools to an Electrical Manager or Junior Contracts Manager role.
3. Strong leadership and communication skills.
4. Knowledge of UK electrical and construction regulations.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
6. Full UK driving licence (Essential).
7. UK National (Required for security clearance on certain contracts).
