Job Description
Key responsibilities will consist of:
1. Generate reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and key metrics for management review.
2. Order processing & billing duties.
3. Handle order entry, ensuring that customer orders are accurately recorded in the system.
4. Coordinate with finance and billing teams to ensure invoices are generated and sent to clients on time.
5. Track the status of orders and manage communications with clients regarding delivery timelines or issues.
6. Ensure smooth integration between dealership systems and those of the manufacturer or distributor.
7. Process all transactions with precision and clarity, ensuring records are up-to-date.
8. Regularly update vehicle and customer records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
9. Provide a professional and welcoming reception to all visitors, ensuring a positive first impression.
10. Efficiently handle telephone enquiries, considering peak periods and ongoing meetings.
11. Provide actionable insights to the sales leadership team for strategic decision-making.
12. Assist in the development and documentation of standardised sales processes and workflows.
13. Identify inefficiencies in the sales process and recommend improvements.
14. Train team members on new tools, processes, or updates to the sales platform.
15. Manage and support sales tools, such as CRM software, proposal tools, and analytics platforms.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will possess:
1. Good communication skills
2. Good planning & organising skills and ability to prioritise
3. Ability to work within a team as well as on own initiative
4. Ability to ensure all outgoing sales correspondence is dispatched promptly.
5. Possess a working knowledge of manufacturer systems and documentation handling requirements
6. Conduct all transactions with precision and maintain clear records.
7. Uphold a consistently professional and courteous welcome for all visitors.
8. Enhance the reputation of the business during interactions with others.
9. File completed invoiced job card histories and conduct annual archiving of job cards.
10. Presentation skills is preferable
11. Negotiating skills are preferable
12. SAP & necessary order processing knowledge
