Responsibilities
As the Head of Admissions, you will be developing and implementing a robust admissions strategy to achieve enrolment targets. Collaborating with senior leadership, you'll align admissions goals with institutional strategies and stay ahead of national trends to drive recruitment efforts. Overseeing the entire admissions process, you'll ensure it is streamlined and applicant-friendly while leveraging technology where appropriate.
Your role includes managing admissions systems and leading a high-performing admissions team. You'll work collaboratively with academic departments and monitor, analyse, and report on key admissions data to inform decisions. By driving quality improvements and maintaining professionalism, you'll enhance the applicant experience and ensure all processes comply with GDPR and college policies.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification in Initial Advice and Guidance to level 3. You will bring proven leadership experience in admissions or student recruitment, with a track record of strategic planning and exceptional team management. Experience with admissions systems and a data-driven approach are essential. Additionally, strong organisational skills are necessary to manage multiple priorities effectively.
